Description
The Pratt-Sexton Vineyard was a Siduri staple. Farmed by one of my favorite vineyard managers – Jim Pratt – this amazing West County vineyard made up the majority of Siduri’s Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and also was a stand-out as a vineyard-designated wine (it garnered fantastic reviews and ratings starting way back in 2012).
Now, with the 2024 vintage Morét Brealynn has gone BACK TO THE FUTURE and is releasing her FIRST SEXTON VINEYARD PINOT NOIR.
The Sexton Vineyard is a gorgeous site in the Sonoma Coast – with its hills planted to vines and overlooking Ted Lemon’s estate vineyard. This cool weather site allows for a long hangtime and true flavor development, while the surrounding conifer trees add subtle and complex flavor notes to the wine. Because of the area, this wine is definitely a baby – we open it 4-8 hours ahead of time if we want to enjoy it now, but we truly believe it will only improve with time in the cellar.
Only 72 cases were produced.
