• 66.6% Garys’ Vineyard and 33.4% Rosella’s Vineyard. 80.3% new French Oak (3 Francois Freres 3 Year air–dried VTG M toast, 1 Boutes Grande Reserve 3 Year air-dried M Toat) one 1–year old French Oak barrel, and 60 gallons of Garys’ final blend.

• 74.7% Whole Cluster Fermented

• Non–inoculated primary and malolactic fermentation

• 14.42% alcohol, 3.76 pH, 5.4 g/l TA

As usual, this Clarice Santa Lucia Highlands bottling is a blend of Garys’ and Rosella’s Vineyard Pinot Noirs. What is unusual is that this year we took one barrel of the final Garys’ Vineyard blend and added it to the final SLH bottling. This provides the wine with more depth and richness than usual and makes it one of my favorite Clarice SLH wines thus far.
