“The 2022 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands has a gorgeous and intense bouquet of ripe red and black fruits (black raspberries, strawberries, currants) that gives way to more minty herbs, black tea, and sappy, floral nuances. This beauty is ripe, medium to full-bodied, has a supple, elegant mouthfeel and a rich yet still graceful and light-on-its-feet style that has so much to love. It’s beautiful today, yet I see no reason this won’t evolve for a solid decade. The 2022 is based on 60% Rosella’s Vineyard and 40% Gary’s Vineyard that was fermented with 83% stems and aged in two-thirds new French oak.”
