After a decade working at wineries such as HALL, Kosta-Browne, and Martinelli – Moret branched out on her own, producing her first wines in 2021, starting with just four tons of fruit from the Russian River Valley. By 2024, her production has tripled, earning widespread acclaim and numerous accolades for her wines.

Moret’s winemaking philosophy is simple yet profound: “Wine is made in the vineyard—my
job in the cellar is to stay out of its way.” Dedicated to this ethos, Morét spends most of
her time among the vines, nurturing their growth, playing music to them, and setting
them up for success.

2022 Russian River Valley Zinfandel – “Old school”

“Old school wet-soil-y briar-patch-y aromas of blackberry and plum, kirsch, blueberry, licorice, and allspice. It boasts a svelte, medium body with fine, chewy tannin and bright acid. Nice mouthfeel and finish, but it starts a little low on density and needs oxidization to fill out. The salty-sweet flavor profile includes blackberry, black plum, blueberry, baking spice, bright orange, tobacco, spearmint, and violet. It gets sweeter with air, and peppery.
