ROBB REPORT
“We happen to be huge fans of his 2023 Rosella’s vineyard Pinot Noir, which has aromas of bright cherry, red raspberry, and brown baking spices that transition seamlessly to the palate with flavors of ripe red fruits and a touch of dried herbs in the finish.”
96 POINTS – JEBDUNNUCK.COM
A fantastic floral perfume lifts from the 2023 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard, comes from a site closer to the coast and sees some whole cluster on the Pommard clone in the blend. It’s both floral and spicy, with high-toned floral note that comes through along with notes of pomegranate. There’s linear acidity driving the wine forward with a fantastic tension at this young stage, and I love the electricity that comes through in this sample. This is my personal favorite of the barrel samples from this tasting, and it’s going to be a pleasure to check back in on this wine in another year.
